The QiRanger Adventures

The 23rd…

I had a very special surprise when I woke up this morning.

Jo had gone out the previous night and picked up a BR Ice Cream cake for me today, and when I went into the ice chest for some cool cubes this morning, I was greeted with this nice little surprise. It made for an interesting breakfast choice, but hey… you only live once, right.

No.

We didn’t have it for breakfast, despite how good it look. What we did do is enjoy from freshly made indomie and hard-boiled eggs, courtesy of Jo’s amazing cooking skills. We then kicked back and watched the latest episode of the Amazing Race while chatting with family members calling in to wish me well.

It was so nice to take a slower pace this morning, since both of us had to roll into Seoul to drop off my computer for repair (again) and take care of some paperwork. We couldn’t have asked for a better day, since the temperature is above 60F/16C for the first time since the snow. I mean, it’s amazing! It makes waiting in line for the bus and Embassies really enjoyable.

Well, at least waiting outside fun.

Because I had to return to Dongtan for work, I had to leave Jo behind (SAY IT ISN’T SOOOOOO!!!) to wait for documents to be processed. I’m looking forward to having her home with me tonight to really celebrate and have some of that cake.

While out, we did manage to make a quick video showing how to use the electronic recharge features of the T-Money System.

How was your day?

  1. Happy birthday! 😀 (It is your birthday, right?:P)

    Wicked cake 😀

Oh, and 16C sounds nice! Here it suddenly started to snow a LOT this past weekend, so now there’s a lot of problems with public transportation due to the amount of snow, and between -15C to -11C as it was today! *brrrrr cold!* On Saturday and Sunday the metro didn’t even go up here where I live because of the snow 😛 So they had set up alternative transportation.. Glad I didn’t have to venture outside during the weekend 😀

Other than that, my day today was good! Got myself a new ergonomic thing at work, that should help against my mouse-arm! Yay!

    Have a great day! 😀

    • Thanks Julie!

Glad you were able to stay warm and inside during that nasty weather. I’m really enjoying the warmer weather here. It’s fantastic!

I also have high hopes for the new mouse/desk items. May it resolve all your arm problems.!

The sun has been coming out these last few days, but unfortunately it is still cold. thought it would be getting better but it seems not… my windshield today had a sheet of ice on it. 😦 Well, at least we are in the last stretch!
